As a registered WordPress user, you can customize this page via the edit page link in the toolbar. You can use the page to introduce yourself or your company to potential visitors. For example, it could say:
Hi, I'm a courier by day and an actor by night, and this is my website. I live in a big city, have a great dog and I like drinks with umbrellas (but not standing in the rain without an umbrella).
...or something like this:
The XYZ company was founded in 1971 and has been supplying the public with high-quality products ever since. Located in a small city, the company employs over 2,000 people and supports the city's residents in many ways.
If you prefer to present the latest articles on your start page, you should select the option "Your latest posts" in your settings under "Show your start page".
